multiple holiday events at CVLT </h2>
<p style="font-size:10pt; font-weight:normal;font-family:

FALLS, OH - The holiday season is always bustling in the
charming Village of Chagrin Falls, and nowhere is there
more action than at Chagrin Valley Little Theatre, where a
musical, a comedy, and three special events will be packed
into the remaining weeks of 2011.</p>
<p style="font-size:10pt; font-weight:normal;font-family:
arial, sans-serif; color:#000000;" align="left">The
musical <em>Scrooge</em> brings family-friendly
entertainment to the main stage (November 18 - December
18), while adults will be treated to the two-man comedy <em>A
Tuna Christmas</em> on CVLT's River Street Playhouse
stage (November 25 - December 10). In December, the
theatre's annual <em>Holiday Show & Gingerbread Tea</em>
brings Santa Claus and friends into town a few weeks early
for young children (December 10/11), and the Chagrin Falls
Studio Orchestra returns for it's annual Wassail concert
of Christmas favorites (December 22/23). The theatre wraps
the year with a shiny bow, presenting a musical revue on
New Year's Eve featuring vocalist Pat Mazzarino and other
CVLT regulars performing songs from Broadway and
Hollywood.</p>

which plays Fridays and Saturdays 11/18 through 12/18 at 8
PM, plus Sundays November 27, December 4* and 18 at 2 PM,
is the stage adaptation of the classic 1970 musical film,
written and composed by Leslie Bricusse and based on
Dickens' classic 'A Christmas Carol'. Director Michael J.
Rogan and musical director David Keith Stiver worked with
choreographer Laura Rightnour-Henri to mold a nearly
40-member cast, largely populated with area families.
Actor Paul Sloop, who appears in the title role, shares
the stage with his wife Sarah and four daughters who play
Bob Cratchit's family. The ensemble also boasts father and
son Don and Victor Bernardo, mother Kristine and daughters
Kailin and Brigitte Edwards, father and daighter Rick and
Riley Firehammer, sisters Emma and Lily Grossberg and
Elysa and Claire Mulvaney, as well as Vicki O'Malley and
her children Patrick and Caitlin, among others. Tickets
are $18, with a $4 discount for students and seniors. *All
tickets for the Sunday 12/4 matinee have been purchased by
Junction Auto Sales and donated to Friends of WomenSafe as
a fundraiser - tickets for this performance can be
purchased exclusively through Friends of WomenSafe at
(440) 285-3741.</p>

Christmas</em>, which plays Fridays and Saturdays at 8
PM, November 25 - December 10 on the smaller River Street
Playhouse stage, is a significantly different style of
holiday fun from the big musical next door. <font
style="font-size:13px" color="#000000" face="Arial,
Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">This second installment
in a trio of hilarious comedies by Jaston Williams, Joe
Sears, and Ed Howard features just two actors (David
Malinowski and Joseph Dunn) playing over twenty
eccentric characters of all ages and sexes. Audiences
will laugh at the travails of the residents of fictional
Tuna, Texas, whose annual Christmas Yard Display Contest
has been thrown a curve by a mysterious vandal who
sabotages the displays. Meanwhile, the townsfolk try to
manage their own crazy holiday turmoil, including family
woes, probation problems, and an ill-fated production of
"<i>A Christmas Carol</i>". This wildly funny holiday
ride for grown-ups is directed by Yvonne E. Pilarczyk.
Tickets are $10.</font></p>
