Farren <br>Music Direction by Connie Baltitas<br></div><div><br>THE STORY: <br>A first-class melodrama. Shy Hugh Gregory loves Mary Gray, the prettiest girl in Deer Lick, Missouri. A mysterious stranger enters to win Mary’s love, and a disinheritance is announced, and topping that, a murder is committed. It’s an

Thwacker-40s to 70s (Bass)<br><br>Hugh Gregory- 20s to 30s Young fellow (In love with Mary) (Baritone/Bass)<br><br>The Stranger- 30s to 50s with an odd pan European accent (mostly Tenor but has a big range)<br><br>MUSICIANS also needed:<br>Fiddle<br>Upright Acoustic Bass<br>Banjo<br><br>GENERAL INFORMATION:<br>Audition Dates: Monday, December 5 and Tuesday, December 6 at 7:30pm. Auditions will be held at Clague Playhouse, 1371 Clague Road, Westlake. <br><br>Production Dates: March 9 - April 1, 2012 on Thursdays,
Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sundays at 2pm.<br><br>Please bring an audition photo and résumé and a prepared song and sheet music. Auditioners will be asked to do cold readings from the script.<br><br>A perusal script is available at the Clague Playhouse Box Office for a $10 deposit through December 3, 2011.
