Importance of Being Earnest”<o:p></o:p></FONT></U></SPAN></H2>
<P><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial"><FONT size=3>Auditions will be held at the
Ashtabula Arts Center for “The Importance of Being Earnest” by Oscar Wilde on
Sat., Jan. 21 from 10 - noon and Sun., Jan. 22 from 6 - 8 p.m.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Readings will be from the script.
Auditions are first come, first served.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">
</SPAN>Everyone is encouraged to audition. Beginning actors are
welcome.<o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial"><FONT size=3>Auditioners should come
prepared to attempt an upper-class English accent.<o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial"><FONT size=3>The cast requires five men,
Jack and Algy (age 16-30), Chasuble (over 40), and two servants any age; four
women: Gwendolen & Cecily (age 16-30), Miss Prism (over 40), and Lady
Bracknell:(over 40).<o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial"><FONT size=3><SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Rehearsals begin early Feb. & will
generally be held Sun.-Thurs. evening. Performance dates are March 23, 24, 25,
30, 31, April 1.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>The production is
being directed by Douglas Anderson.<o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN></P>
