<div align=left><STRONG><U>Roles:</U> Except in two instances the age range here is from 18 to 35. The cast numbers 13 to 15 (8/9 men, 4/5 women, 1 boy). One of the women </STRONG><STRONG>(The Storyteller) should be 40 to 60. The boy should be 6 to 10 and should be darker skinned as he plays a Native American. Neither of these </STRONG><STRONG>two roles need to sing. The rest of the cast needs to be comfortable with styles that range from quasi-musical theatre to Punk, Emo, and </STRONG><STRONG>traditional Rock styles. Actor/Singers who play guitar are encouraged to bring them. Almost all actors double (except for The Story Teller</STRONG><STRONG>and The Boy) and play a variety of roles from politicians to Native Americans, and parents to tourists. </STRONG></div>

<div align=left><STRONG><U>The Show:</U> "<EM>Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson</EM>" was THE Off Broadway hit of 2010 before transitioning to a shorter-lived B'Way production. It </STRONG><STRONG>juxtaposes a story line from the early 19th century with contemporary music and dialogue, and requires an unbelievably energetic and balls-to-</STRONG><STRONG>the-wall cast. Two thirds of the show is book, so it requires VERY strong actors at every turn who are also fearless in attacking the vocal </STRONG><STRONG>style of the show. It is amazing in its timeliness as well, skewering Left and Right alike and makes us see how little has really changed in </STRONG><STRONG>Washington and the country in almost 200 years.</STRONG></div>
