face="Times New Roman">Weathervane Playhouse is accepting original 10 minute
plays for their 2012 TheatreFest to be held on the weekend of <SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>July 13-15, 2012.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN><SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Plays must be unproduced and unpublished
- workshops and readings excepted.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">
</SPAN><SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>8 finalist plays will be
chosen by a panel of volunteer judges and will be presented (3 <SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>performances) during the Festival.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Each finalist playwright will also
receive a minimum cash prize of $50.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">
</SPAN>Other awards, as determined by Guest Judges, include: $350 for First
Place and $250 for Second.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">
</SPAN>The Audience Favorite will receive $150.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN></FONT></P>

face="Times New Roman">There is an administrative fee of $10.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Playwrights may submit a maximum
of 2 plays for this fee.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">
</SPAN>Deadline for entries is 5pm May 16, 2012 or upon receipt of 300 entries,
whichever occurs first.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN></FONT></P>
