                wild at CVLT, with audiences and critics alike enjoying
                the final performances of <em>ENCHANTED APRIL</em> on
                our main stage and the thrilling run of <em>YANKEE
                  TAVERN</em> at the River Street Playhouse. Not only
                that, but the Chagrin Falls Studio Orchestra's annual
                Valentine's Concert </font><font style="font-size:13px"
                color="#000000" face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"
                size="2">with pianists Dmitri Levkovich and Marina
                Radiushina was a sell-out success!</font></p>

                size="2">This month brings a last-minute addition to our
                schedule, as Andrew Rothman performs <strong><em><a

                      AGONY AND THE ECSTASY OF STEVE JOBS</a></em></strong>
                on the River Street Playhouse stage March 9 and 10. <a

                for the summer musical <em><strong>HAIRSPRAY</strong></em>
                will be held the next day, and the spring musical <strong><a

                          Ecstasy of Steve Jobs</em> is an entertaining
                        mixture of personal storytelling, investigative
                        journalism, and moral activism. Actor / author /
                        commentator / playwright Mike Daisey uses his
                        razor-sharp wit to examine the 'cult of Mac' to
                        which he belongs, to give insight into the rise
                        of Apple around the iconic Steve Jobs, and to
                        reveal the working conditions at Apple's Chinese
                        supply factory, Foxconn.</font> </p>

                        sans-serif" size="2">The author</font><font
                        style="font-size:13px" color="#000000"
                        face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">
                        has performed the piece before thousands
                        worldwide, and gained national media attention
                        following an appearance on Chicago Public
                        Radio's <em>This American Life</em> on January
                        6, 2012 (which became the show's most downloaded
                        episode ever). The following week, Apple
                        announced that they would be making changes to
                        their production policies, which many attributed
                        to pressure generated by this monologue, and to
                        a workers' strike at Foxconn that occured in the
                        same week as the radio airing.</font></p>
                    <p align="justify"><font style="font-size:13px"
                        color="#000000" face="Arial, Helvetica,
                        sans-serif" size="2">On February 21, 2011, Mr.
                        Daisey released a transcript of <em>The Agony
                          and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs</em> based on
                        his extemporaneous performances of the piece for
                        open public for use. It is believed that CVLT's
                        staged reading by Andrew Rothman, also a
                        life-long Apple enthusiast, writer and comedic
                        actor, will be the first theatrical production
                        of the transcript anywhere in the world.</font></p>
