<span style="font-weight: bold;">More than 400 guests are expected on May 5, 2012 for Great Lakes Theater’s STARRY, STARRY NIGHT Gala, an exuberant celebration commemorating the classic theater company’s 50th anniversary, at the InterContinental Hotel.</span>
All proceeds benefit Great Lakes Theater’s nationally acclaimed mainstage and educational programming that will impact more than 100,000 adults and students this season.<br>

Great Lakes Theater’s black tie optional, golden-year gala festivities commences with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at 6:30 p.m., followed by
<span style="font-weight: bold;">an “Appetizer” of songs by acclaimed Broadway composer Stephen Sondheim performed, cabaret-style, by Broadway star Pamela Myers</span>. The evening also includes “Limited Edition”
<span style="font-weight: bold;">live and silent auctions featuring one-of-a-kind items and experiences</span>, a delicious
<span style="font-weight: bold;">double entrée dinner prepared by the world-class InterContinental Hotel culinary staff</span> and dancing set to the sounds of the acclaimed
<span style="font-weight: bold;">show band, <span style="font-style: italic;">Rumplestiltskin
</span>- deemed “the best act in the Midwest.”</span><br>
