A classic American drama and the final work of the incomparable Eugene O’Neill, this powerful play is often considered a sequel to O’Neill’s <i>A Long Day’s Journey into Night</i>.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNoSpacing><i><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>A Moon for the Misbegotten,</span></i><span style='font-size:12.0pt'> by Eugene O'Neill, will be presented March 22-April 8. Curtain times are Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m., with Sunday matinees at 2:30 p.m. Dinner or Brunch is available to all theatre patrons prior to every performance at the Akron Woman’s City Club next door. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNoSpacing><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>There will be a special $12 preview performance Thursday, March 22 only, at 8 p.m. The official opening night is Friday, March 23. He was named Outstanding Theatre Artists in 2007 by Arts Alive! for his theatrical achievements, and he has won many awards as an actor and director. He is also one of the two Artistic Directors of Ohio Shakespeare Festival, which performs each summer at Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens, as well as periodically at Coach House and the Players Guild of Canton. For Coach House, Terry last directed and appeared in <i>Shipwrecked!</i> earlier this season. He has directed our hit productions of <i>You Can't Take It With You, Witness for the Prosecution, Light up the Sky </i>and Royal Coach Award winners for Best Production <i>Not Now, Darling! </i>(2008-09) and<i> Lettice and Lovage </i>(2010-11)<i>. </i>He also has appeared on stage in <i>Deathtrap</i> and <i>Sleuth</i>. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNoSpacing><span style='font-size:12.0pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNoSpacing><b><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>SPECIAL GUEST ARTIST Lara Knox</span></b><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>, a resident of New York City, has performed with the Ohio Shakespeare Festival for five seasons, and her roles have included Kate in <i>The Taming of the Shrew</i>, Julia in <i>The Two Gentlemen of Verona</i> and Emilia in <i>Othello</i>. Other favorite past roles include Lusia in <i>A Shayna Maidel</i> (JCC), Cunningham in <i>The Last Days of Judas Iscariot</i> (Penn State), Lady Macbeth in <i>Macbeth</i> (Penn State) and Gi in <i>Northeast Local</i> (Crain, NYC).
