<DIV>The Canal Fulton Players are having auditions for the play, A Piece of My
Heart, by Shirley Lauro. This is a Samuel French play and is a drama
concerning six women who went to Vietnam during the height of the war. The
parts are for five nurses and a country western singer booked by an unscrupulous
agent to entertain the troops. The play portrays each young woman before,
during, and after her tour in the war-torn nation and ends as each leaves a
personal token at the memorial wall in Washington. There are six female
and one male parts. One of the female parts must be Asian-American.
There is also a part for a guitar player.<BR>The play is being directed by Anita
Artzner and will be performed at the Kathleen Howland Theatre, 324 Cleveland
Avenue North, Canton, Ohio. Rehearsals will be in Canal Fulton. The
dates of the performances are May 24-27, 2012. <BR>The auditions are on
March 26-27, 2012, at 7:00 pm at the United Methodist Church of Canal Fulton,
363 West Cherry Street, Canal Fulton, Ohio. Please be prepared to read
