<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" ><tr><td valign="top" style="font: inherit;">This happened to me at Dobama Theater. I sent a headshot along with my resume (which clearly showed that I am African-American). I was given a time to audition, when I got there, they had me sit in the waiting area for at least 45 mins. They finally called me in to audition but for a part that I didn't apply. Finally the director advised me that this was a Jewish play and she had no intentions of casting it in any other way. I was so angry that I just walked away. She could have told me that in the beginning. Why waste my time that way?
