auditions for <i>HAIRSPRAY</i> </h3>

color:#000;">Based on the 1988 John Waters film, and punched by
Marc Shaiman's score, Scott Wittman's lyrics and a book by Mark
O'Donnell and Thomas Meehan, this multi-Tony winning musical is
the story of a chubby, spunky girl who brings about the racial
integration of Baltimore's favorite 60's teen dance TV show.</p>

Baritone. Tracy 's father. A working class inventor. Sweet,
goofy, childlike personality. Adores his family. Needs a
thin, funny character actor.</small></p>

<p><small><b>MOTORMOUTH MAYBELLE</b> - Female, African‐American,
40s‐50s, Alto. Seaweed and Little Inez’s mother. Queen of
Baltimore Soul, a radio DJ. Powerful and inspiring, with an
infectious, brassy personality. Large physique. Strong,
soulful gospel/pop singer. </small></p>

<p><small><b>LITTLE INEZ</b> - Female, African‐American, teens,
Mezzo. Spunky, tough, streetwise, outgoing, older than her
years. Seaweed's lovable little sister. Strong Broadway/pop
singer and dancer.</small></p>

that shows off your vocal range and personality. You must bring
sheet music in the correct key.<br>

need to be able to move well. Please wear appropriate clothing
and shoes.</small>
