present “Fall into Falling,” two days of contact improvisation on Sunday April

allows two or more people to spontaneously move together as one body. It
explores the give and take of weight through a shared point of contact and
discovers the easiest pathway for mutual movement. The form is based on
communication by touch and sensitivity to balance, momentum, gravity and the
interpersonal dynamics of shared space. Although Contact Improvisation has been
influential in the development of dancers and contemporary modern dance, it is
not a form that is limited to utilization by trained professionals. In other
words, anyone can do it.<o:p></o:p></span></span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Arial;mso-bidi-font-weight:

bold">Larry Muha has been doing various forms of dance since 1980. He began
practicing Contact Improvisation in 1982 and has since used it to inform his
dancing and his life. He has performed with the Cleveland State Dance Company,
Shalhevet International Folk Ensemble, Cleveland Opera and the Mather Dance
Collective at CWRU. He has also participated in many improvised performances
with assorted groups of dancers, musicians and artists.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span></span><span style="font-size:11.0pt;
font-family:Arial">Colleen Clark, MFA, RYT, has been teaching a variety of
movement forms for over 3 decades.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>Larry
and Colleen have been doing Contact Improvisation together since 1982.
They love exploring the utter simplicity and deep complexities of this
