Winner of twelve Tony awards, The Producers is based on the classic hit comedy film by the same name, which has become a smash Broadway hit. The plot is simple: a down-on-his-luck Broadway producer and a mild-mannered accountant devise a scheme to present the greatest flop in theater history, thereby bilking their backers out of millions of dollars. Just one thing goes wrong: their show is a smash hit! It is an insanely funny journey, where Max Bialystock and Leo Bloom, two men with little in common become great friends through their mischief.
