it only knocks once, but when Russian physicist Pyotr Shcherbarov comes calling,
doors seem to open by magic. Is he a genius? An opportunist? Does
there have to be a difference? FIRST MONDAYS presents a reading of BLATNOY
BLUES, a quirky new comedy by Eoin Carney, on Monday, May 7 at 7:30 p.m. at
Judson Manor.

Winner of the 2012 Lake Erie Playwright Competition,
BLATNOY BLUES explores the meteoric rise of a Russian physicist who turns a
Midwestern University on its ear with a unique combination of Baltic charm and
skullduggery or is it that plain old-fashioned thuggery? No one really
knows for sure. Jonathan Wilhelm plays the wily Shcherbarov, supported by
Michael Regnier, Stuart Hoffman, Joe Verciglio, Tim Keo and Lauren B.
Smith.

And speaking of opportunity, FIRST MONDAYS has partnered with the
Ohio Philharmonic to bring you discounted tickets for their Spring Concert on
May 4 and 5 in the Gartner Auditorium of the Cleveland Museum of Art.
Don't miss this chance to hear Grieg and Ravel under the baton of Maestro
Domenico Boyagian with guest artist Antonio Pompa-Baldi. Our website has
