opening production of its 33^rd Season.<span style>  </span></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:center"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Ensemble is proud to present Larry Kramer’s landmark play <i style><b>THE NORMAL HEART</b>, </i>fresh from a Tony Award winning
revival on Broadway.<span style>  </span>Written in
1985, <i style><b>THE NORMAL HEART</b></i> chronicles the
fear and frustration of the early days of the AIDS crisis in New York City,
1981-1984, and the dawn of a powerful activist movement.<span style>  </span>The play is based on Kramer’s own
personal journey as he battled an apathetic media, government, and medical
bureaucracy.  </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:center;text-indent:0.5in"><b style><i style><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><br></span></i></b></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:center;text-indent:0.5in"><b style><i style><span style="font-size:12.0pt">THE
NORMAL HEART</span></i></b><span style="font-size:12.0pt"> is a fierce, poignant,
and often funny, play about the rapid spread of a mysterious, fatal disease and
how it personally touches each character and challenges their identities,
relationships, and lifestyles.<span style>  </span>For
audiences seeing this play in 2012 it will be an eye-opening history lesson for
many; for others it will be a touching reminder of past struggles and personal
loss. We hope it will also be a timely opportunity to learn more about new
research, recommit to a finding a cure, and open a dialogue on many related current
