NEOhioPALers,

This month marks the beginning of my 8th year living in Cleveland -- having moved from Southern California to start a career and exclited by the width and depth of arts and culture in the region (there are so many more events that I'd like to attend than I ever have hope of actually attending!)

I know there's a lot of crossover in NEO between performing arts and visual arts so it occurred to me that there may be a number of NEOPALers in the "young professional" group who might be interested in Column and Stripe.

Column and Stripe, the new friends of the Cleveland Museum of Art is a new affiliate group that "connects young friends of the museum through vibrant arts and culture programming, progressive leadership opportunities, and philanthropic fulfillment."

Although I'm a little biased based on my involvment with the group, the programming beind developed is really exciting -- ranging from casual social events, behind-the-scenes opportunities both at the museum and in artists studios, and even 'hands on' activities.

More information is at http://www.columnandstripe.org/ or by going to clevelandart.org, and selecting "Column and Stripe" from the "Support" tab.

Because the group is officially launching at this year's Solstice, there are two exciting offer

1- If you've already purchased a Solstice Ticket, you can save $25 on joining Column and Stripe

2- If you don't already have a Solstice Ticket (and the first round of tickets has sold out) Column and Stripe has a limited number tickets to offer to new members -- but those are going quickly (you can confirm availabiltiy by calling or emailing the folks listed on the Column & Stripe

Of course, if you have any questions about the group, feel free to email me off list or call or email the really nice pepole at the museum.

Lincoln

(Not an employee or representative of the Cleveland Museum of Art)
