Students will work on musical theater skills through group singing, creative and
choreographed movement, rhythm notation, and sight reading with

last day of class. Each student will receive a copy for repeat

class with a dance style warm up and cool down provided by Art Sparks. In
class, students participate in theatre games, acting, learning to use body
language to communicate meaning, improvisation, social stories and role
play. Students begin the class by socializing and eating lunch together,
so please pack a lunch each day! The class will share favorite activities

<P><EM>Where’s Waldo? Let’s find out! Students will create a
real-life <STRONG>Where’s Waldo </STRONG>scene as a flash mob. A
<STRONG>flash mob</STRONG> is a spontaneous public performance, usually a dance
that appears seemingly out of nowhere. It starts with just one person and
grows to include more people, until it quickly disappears. Flash mobs aim
to create joy through surprise. So let’s combine theatre’s storytelling
and improvisation with the arts of music and dance in this cool new class
offered by Weathervane and Art Sparks. The class will perform at
Weathervane on the last day of Saturday classes, and a public performance – TBA
on the first day of class! Be a part of this special art form and join in
