<br>For the audition, please prepare an objective driven, 32 bar cut, memorized musical selection in the style of "The Sound of Music". Please, bring a head shot, resume and sheet music in the correct key - an accompanist will be provided. Please do not sing from "The Sound of Music" and absolutely no a capella singing will be accepted.<br>

<br>Herr Zeller: late 20s – 40s; A staunch Nazi sympathizer and eventually a leader in the Nazi regime. Non singing. <br><br>Frau Schmidt: 30s to 50s; Caring housekeeper. Non singing.<br><br>Admiral Von Schreiber: 30s – 50s; A retired Admiral in the Austrian Navy. Non singing. <br>

<br>Rolf Gruber: 17; Clean cut, athletic German youth. Blonde hair a plus. Baritone. Must be able to move well. <br><br>Sister Margaretta: 30s – 60s; Mistress of Postulants; very kind, happy and quirky. Soprano with a high C. <br>

<br>Sister Sophia: 20s – 40s; Kind and understanding. Soprano. <br><br>Female Ensemble: 20s – 60s; all physical types with excellent legit voices. To play various nuns and party guests.<br><br>THE VON TRAPP CHILDREN<br>Louisa: 13; Rebellious and likes to play tricks on people. Good singer. <br>
