pleased to announce that the Saturday, December 1, 3:00 matinee and 7:00pm
performances of </span><a target="_blank" href="http://www.nutcracker.com/Home_Page.php"><span style="font-family:">Moscow
Ballet’s <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">Great Russian Nutcracker</i></span></a><span style="font-family:"> have been moved to Cleveland’s
historic Public Auditorium Music Hall. Due to popular demand and in honor of Moscow
Ballet’s </span><a target="_blank" href="http://www.nutcracker.com/yourcity/cleveland-oh"><span style="font-family:">Children’s Miracle Network fund
raiser</span></a><span style="font-family:"> for
Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital, the performance venue is now conveniently
located in the heart of downtown within walking distance of the rapid transit
system. The venue <span class="inplacedisplayid2162siteid0">provides
accommodations for special needs guests, including elevators, accessible
seating and restrooms, and a map for the visually impaired and has nearby
parking. </span><span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>Public Auditorium and
Music Hall have hosted many notable events, including </span><a target="_blank" href="http://www.clevelandorchestra.com/"><span style="font-family:">The
Cleveland Orchestra</span></a><span style="font-family:">’s

Russian Nutcracker</i> tickets sold to CMNH partner hospitals. Moscow Ballet
soloist Nataliya Miroshnyk visited with children at Rainbow Babies and
Children’s Hospital in September and for every ticket sold to the Cleveland
performance, the CMNH portion stays in town going to the hospital. </span><a target="_blank" href="http://childrensmiraclenetworkhospitals.org/"><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"><span style="font-family:">Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals</span></b></a><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal"><span style="font-family:">®</span></b><span style="font-family:"> raises funds for more than

with a spectacular new “Dove of Peace,” where 2 dancers become one stunning
bird, inspired by the early works of Stanislov Vlasov, original choreographer
and director of Moscow Ballet’s inaugural <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">Great
Russian Nutcracker</i>. The production also features a Christmas tree that
grows to 5 stories tall; falling snow and Troika styled sleigh escorted by Russian
folk characters Ded Moroz (Father Christmas) and Snegurochka (Snow Maiden);
towering hand-made silk puppets; 200 all new, lavish costumes; and 9
hand-painted backdrops all set to Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s complete <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">Nutcracker Suite</i> score. For 20 years <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">Great Russian Nutcracker</i> performances
have featured the finest Russian ballerinas and danseurs. From former Bolshoi

Russian Nutcracker</i>, originally directed and choreographed by Bolshoi
Theatre soloist Stanislav Vlasov in 1993, debuted to rave reviews from the press
which continues to this day. In 1993 </span><span style="font-family:">from the Durham <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">Herald Sun</i>, “Impeccable technique,
quicksilver footwork…expressive gestures carried to eloquent length” to </span><span style="font-family:">2010
<i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">NY Times</i> Chief Dance Critic,
“Knockout…expansive…brimful with feeling.” Over 20 years the tour expanded its touring
from eight to seventy cities across North America with two simultaneously
performing troupes of 40 Russian dancers each. The <i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">Great Russian Nutcracker</i> is unique among Nutcracker ballets featuring
Russian culture throughout. Father Christmas (Ded Moroz) and Snow Maiden
(Snegurochka) escort Masha (aka Clara) and the Nutcracker Prince through the
Snow Forrest in Act I and the “Dove of Peace” brings them to the “Land of Peace
and Harmony” in Act II.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>The company of
40 dancers features award-winning principals and top graduates of Perm,
