applicants for tenure track Assistant Professor of Scenic & Lighting
Design, beginning August 2013.<span style>
</span>Primary responsibilities include: teaching courses in Scenic &
Lighting Design, Visual Art of Theatre, Stage Management and Theatre Aesthetics
in an undergraduate BA program; the designer will function as Scenic &
Lighting Designer for a 4 show departmental season and supervise student
designers and stage managers. </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:Cambria">The position requires the ability to design and
execute designs. Expertise in one or more of the following areas desirable:
sound design, scenic painting, properties.<span style> </span>The candidate should have demonstrated commitment to
teaching and be able to show evidence of teaching effectiveness.<span style> </span>MFA and professional experience
required.<span style> </span>Continued professional
work expected.</span></p>
