<font face="Arial, sans-serif">Shaker Heights Arts Council announces
the development of a directory of artists who reside in Shaker
Heights. Individuals who work full or part-time in the literary,
music, visual, and performance arts are eligible to email The
Shaker Arts Council </font><font color="#0000ff"><u><a
href="mailto:artsshaker@aol.com"><font face="Arial,
sans-serif">artsshaker@aol.com</font></a></u></font><font
face="Arial, sans-serif"> with their contact information and
artistic discipline as well as links to their websites and blogs.
Leslye Arian, president of SHAC, reports that </font><font
face="Arial, sans-serif"><i>“the directory will be designed to be
a useful tool for presenters such as schools, festivals, arts
organizations, arts centers, colleges and universities, civic
organizations, performance spaces, galleries, individuals and
groups that utilize artists.” </i></font>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; line-height: 150%"><font face="Arial,
sans-serif">In addition, the Arts Council will soon be
collecting information and opinion from Shaker artists in the
directory to learn how the Arts Council may better serve artists
and develop a strong arts community in Shaker Heights. The
launch date of the directory is the summer of 2013. </font> </p>
