Oviatt St in Hudson. All roles are available with interested crew and production team members (publicity, set, props, costumes, sound, lights, etc) also being sought. Auditions are open to all with no restrictions. Those auditioning are asked to bring a prepared song preferably in the style of the show (50's/60's pop rock - 32 bars maximum). An accompanist will be provided. Please no recorded music or unaccompanied singing. Auditioners may also be asked to do a brief reading from the script. With performances scheduled for April 26, 27, May 3, 4, 10, 11, 12*, 17 & 18 the musical, with Book by Bob Martin and Don McKellar, Music & Lyrics by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken, will be directed by Alex Nine, with directing assistance and choreography by Chanda Porter and musical direction by Dave Stebbins. Of course quite different from those musicals, “Little Shop of Horrors” tells of a down and out floral assistant who becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers an exotic plant with a mysterious craving.
