<b>KEN</b>: the smoothie<br>
<b>ADRIAN</b>: the “slow,” soulful one<br>
<b>FREDERICK</b>: the bass, has seen it all<br>
<b>VICTOR</b>: the preening bad boy<br>
<b>BRENDA </b>(African-American): a combination of savvy, wit, brains and beauty<br>
<b>B.J.</b> (African-American): inspired by the Rhythm & Blues diva Big Mama Thornton<br>
<b>MICHAEL</b> (White): genuinely suave and impressive, evokes the memory of Elvis<br>
<b>PATTIE</b> (White): the throaty voice of experience<br>
<b>DELEE</b> (White): suggests the innocence of teenage girls with a wild streak<br>
<i>Cain Park is committed to non-traditional casting. Actors will be cast solely on the basis of talent, except in cases where age, race or physical ability is essential to a role.<br>

</span><font size="4"><span style="font-size:14pt"><b>AUDITION REQUIREMENTS<br>
</b></span></font><span style="font-size:11pt">1. 18-40 years old<br>
2<b>. </b>Memorize/prepare two 32-bar cuts in the style of the show (Rhythm & Blues, classic Motown or R&B-flavored rock ‘n’ roll)
<br>
3. Bring sheet music in the proper key (accompanist is provided). NO TAPED MUSIC ALLOWED. Please note...you will not be allowed to audition without sheet music.
<br>
4. Bring your current resume and a current headshot, which will be retained by Cain Park.
<br>
5. Check your calendar for any conflicts before auditioning (see performance dates and rehearsal dates above).<br>

</span><font size="4"><span style="font-size:14pt"><b>COMPENSATION<br>
</b></span></font><b><font color="#650065"><span style="font-size:11pt">Salaried AEA contracts are available and EMC (Equity Membership Candidate) may be available. Non-Equity actors appearing in Cain Park productions will be paid a modest stipend. </span></font></b><span style="font-size:11pt">Non-Equity
