<p><font face="Times New Roman"><b><span style="FONT-SIZE:13.5pt">French farcical comedy premieres this month at UA</span></b></font></p>
<p><font size="3"><font face="Times New Roman">Akron, OH, Feb, 12, 2013 — The University of Akron (UA) Theatre Program presents the premiere of <i>A Flea in Her Ear</i> with seven performances in February and March at Sandefur Theatre in Guzzetta Hall, 139 Buchtel Ave.</font></font></p>

<p><font size="3"><font face="Times New Roman">Directed by UA Adjunct Professor and Equity actress Aubrey Caldwell, performances are Feb. 28, March 1-2, and March 7-9 at 8 p.m. and March 3 at 2 p.m. </font></font></p>
<p style="MARGIN:0in 0in 0pt" class="MsoNormal"><font size="3"><font face="Times New Roman"><i style>A Flea in Her Ear</i> is a French farcical comedy filled with a whirlwind of lies, coincidences and mistaken identity. Set in Paris at the turn of the 20^th century, <i style>A Flea in Her Ear</i><b style> </b>tells the story of Yvonne Chandel as she tries to expose her husband’s supposed infidelity. In her efforts to entrap her husband, Yvonne enlists the help of her friend Lucienne and unintentionally convinces Lucienne’s husband of his wife’s infidelity. As the web of lies grows larger, more couples and bystanders are pulled into the confusion, leading to a hilarious romp through a less-than-reputable inn and a confrontation at the Chandel household.</font></font></p>
