</o:shapelayout></xml><![endif]--></head><body lang=EN-US link=blue vlink=purple><div class=WordSection1><p class=MsoPlainText><b>LCCC Masterworks Concert Presents “Eternal Light” on Saturday, March 9<o:p></o:p></b></p><p class=MsoPlainText><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText>Lorain County Community College’s Civic Chorale, Collegiate Chorale and Civic Orchestra will present the 34th Annual Masterworks Concert, “Eternal Light,” at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, March 9 in the Stocker Arts Center Theatre under the direction of Nancy Davis, director of choral music performance at LCCC.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText>The combined choirs will perform “Lux Aurumque” by Whitacre, “O Nata Lux” by Lauridsen, “Heavenly Light” by Wilhousky, “Song for Athene” by Tavener, “How Blest Are They” by Tchaikovsky, and “Hark, I Hear the Harps Eternal” arranged by Alice Parker. The featured masterwork, Rutter’s Requiem, will be performed by soprano soloist, Janine Porter, chorus and orchestra.
