<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Arial">Actors’ Summit
is presenting the Midwest premiere of <b><i>Motherhood
Out Loud</i></b> (April 4 – 21).  In
conjunction with the show, the theater is inviting people to tell us why your
mom is the “World’s Best Mom” in 100 words or less.  Actors’ Summit
wants to hear about your mom, your co-parent or your kid who is now a mom.  Essays<span style="color:red"> </span>can be
emailed to <a href="mailto:Motherhood@actorssummit.org">Motherhood@actorssummit.org</a>.  Entries must be received by 5:00 p.m. on March
30^th.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Arial">“The play delves into the
different stages of motherhood and is a funny and irreverent look at what it
means to be a mom,” said Neil Thackaberry, co-artistic director of the theater.

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><i><span style="font-family:Arial">Motherhood Out Loud </span></i></b><span style="font-family:Arial">was conceived by Susan R. Rose and Joan Stein and
features a series of pieces about Motherhood by 14 different writers.  The show is fresh, funny and
unpredictable.  As the play states:
“Here’s what they don’t tell you in <i>What
to Expect When You’re Expecting</i>.”  </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Arial"> </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Arial">Tell us why your mom is the
“World’s Best Mom” and win a basket of treats including 4 tickets to the
opening weekend of the show and your piece read by a professional actor to that
night’s audience as well as being posted on the theater’s website.  Members of the artistic staff and several
members of the theater company’s Board of Directors will choose the two
winners.  Selected “Motherhood Moments”
will also be posted on the theater’s Facebook page and website.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:Arial">Each of the two winners will
receive 4 tickets to the opening weekend of the play along with a basket of prizes.
 Local businesses that have donated
prizes include:  Connecting Touch Therapy
& Wellness Center, MC Hair Consultants and Studio MC, Dino Palmeri Salon at
Summit Mall, Becca Gates Photography and Miss Jackie’s Sweet Treats.  Additionally, the Designs by Dia Ray company
is donating hand painted glassware. </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><i><span style="font-family:Arial">Motherhood Out Loud</span></i></b><span style="font-family:Arial"> will have a preview performance on April 4^th
with the official opening on Friday, April 5^th.  The show runs through April 21 with
performances on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8:00 PM, and Sunday
afternoons at 2:00 PM.  There is a single
Saturday matinee on April 13 at 2:00 PM.</span></p>
