It’s just the end of the world. Scientists manning the most powerful computer in the world, the LCC (Liquid Crystal Computer) which they nickname “Elsie” discover a gigantic void in space heading directly toward Earth. Elsie, a bit of an idiot savant, responds technically and literally to all questions to the frustration of the scientists.
