welcome to come and have fun with us at this swing dance. There is no
need to have previous dance experience or a dance partner.<br> <br> Be
sure to arrive in time to take part in the easy jitterbug lesson from
8pm to 9pm. We always review the basic Jitterbug step, talk about the
basics of leading and following, and then show a few new moves. Each
lesson is unique and <span class="text_exposed_show">you will always
pick up new moves and hints each time you attend a pre-dance lesson at a
Get Hep Swing event. These lessons are appropriate for brand new
dancers all the way up to advanced dancers. You will not be
disappointed! During the first band break around 10:20pm we will be
leading a short lesson in 1920s face to face partnered Charleston. <br> <br>
The Night Owls will kick off an awesome night of music and swing
dancing at 9pm and play until 12am. These old pros have the hot licks
down pat! Join us on the dance floor for the Night Owls! The Night
Owls are an unique 10 piece orchestra specializing in the authentic
performance of the irresistible hot dance music of the 1920's -- the
Golden Age of Jazz! The tuxedo clad Night Owls perform songs such as
"You're Driving Me Crazy" and "Crazy Words, Crazy Tunes", as well as fox
trots, waltzes, and standards of the 20's such as "Baby Face". The
orchestra has received enthusiastic response at the Cleveland Playhouse,
University Club, Hermit Club, Oberlin College, the Cleveland Institute

The Lakewood Masonic Temple is located at 15300 Detroit Avenue,
Lakewood, Ohio 44107. There is a parking lot in the back and plenty of
street parking available too. Please enter the building through the
front double doors. <br> <br> No need to make reservations or buy
tickets in advance. The event is $12 per person. Students and seniors
with a valid ID pay only $10 per person. No need to RSVP. Just show up
