work on the costumes for HONK! <BR>Do you have a pile of clothes that you LOVE,
but need a small repair? A hem needs re-stitched, a pair of pants that
would make awesome capris? Did you ever see an outfit in the store you
adore... but costs too much? Did you ever want to make something
completely your own? This class will show you how!<BR></o:p></SPAN></H3>

darts<BR>sew in a zipper<BR>hem<BR>cut out a pattern<BR>construct a garment made
from a pattern<BR></o:p></SPAN></H3>

shop hours with Jasen Smith, students will learn:<BR></STRONG>to create a
costume rendering<BR>about the process of design from script to stage<BR>to work
in a team setting to accomplish goals<BR>to work in a professional setting with
both staff and volunteers.<BR> AND will apply the skills they have learned
in the morning class.<BR><BR>Students will work on class projects from 10:00 to
1:00 with a lunch break at noon. From 1:00 to 2:30 students will apply
their skills in the costume shop by helping to construct costumes for
Weathervane's summer production, HONK! All necessary materials are
provided with the cost of class.</o:p></SPAN></H3>
