<p><b><i><span>Casting Information:</span></i></b><span><span>  </span></span>All roles are available. HYT is committed to non-traditional casting.  Actors will be cast solely on the basis of talent, except in cases where age, race or physical ability is essential to a role.</p>
<p><b><i>WHAT TO PREPARE:</i></b></p><p><b>Grades 6-12</b></p><ol type="1" style="margin-top:0in" start="1"><li>O<span>ne selection in the style of the show up     to a minute in length (ie- one verse and one chorus).</span></li>

<p><b><i><span>Rehearsals begin: </span></i></b><span> Tuesday, September 3<font>^rd.<span>  </span>Rehearsals will be Mon-Fri, 4:30-8:30pm. You will not be called every day, only when you are needed to work. Attendance at ALL tech week rehearsals as well as all performances is mandatory.</font></span></p>

</li></ul><p><b><i><span>About the show:</span></i></b></p><p><b>ROALD DAHL</b>'s deliciously dark tale of young <i>Charlie Bucket</i> and the mysterious confectioner <i>Willy Wonka</i> comes to life in a brand new musical. <span></span></p>
<p>When <i>Charlie</i> wins a golden ticket to the weird and wonderful Wonka Chocolate Factory, it's the chance of a lifetime to feast on the sweets he's always dreamed of. But beyond the gates astonishment awaits, as down the sugary corridors and amongst the incredible edible delights, the five lucky winners discover not everything is as sweet as it seems. A chocolate garden, an army of squirrels and the curiously peculiar <i>Oompa-Loompas</i> must be believed to be seen in this spectacular new musical that is choc-full of fantastical treats to dazzle your senses.     </p>
