"Postmortem" to open CVLT's 84th Season</h2>

FALLS, OH - Audiences at Chagrin Valley Little Theatre
love a good mystery! On the heels of another succesful
annual "Murder by the Falls" fundraiser, CVLT launches its
84th Season with POSTMORTEM by Ken Ludwig. Several of
Ludwig's other works, including "The Fox on the Fairway,"
"Leading Ladies," "Moon Over Buffalo," and "Lend Me A
Tenor" have been hits on the CVLT stage, and "Twentieth
Century" will appear at CVLT in the spring.</p>
<p style="font-size:10pt; font-weight:normal;font-family:
arial, sans-serif; color:#000000;" align="left">POSTMORTEM
features a fictionalized version of real-life actor
William Gillette, who made a name for himself portraying
Sherlock Holmes on Broadway in the early 1900s. In
Ludwig's story, it is 1922 and the anniversary of the
tragic apparent suicide of one of Gillette's guests at his
Connecticut country estate. He has invited all of the
friends who were present at that time back to his home
once more, believing that the suicide was in fact a
murder, and intent on using his "skills" as Holmes to
prove the theory.</p>

POSTMORTEM includes all the jealousy, revenge, love story,
action and humor you'd want in a murder mystery. Gillette
(Bobby Thomas) and his sweetheart Louise (Amy Broich), an
actor-turned-medium who was greatly affected by the death
of her friend, conspire to uncover the murderer with a
seance. In attendance are the deceased's sister May Dison
(Talia Valline), and her actor boyfriend Bobby Carlyle
(Whit Lowell), as well as Gillette's disapproving sister
Marion Barrett (Tori MacNair), her husband Leo (James
Barron), and the opinionated Lilly Warner (Priscilla
Kaczuk). Director Art Suskin makes his Ohio directorial
debut with POSTMORTEM following a 48-year career staging
productions of every genre in New York City, Connecticut,
Pennsylvania, Florida, and the Midwest.</p>
<p style="font-size:10pt; font-weight:normal;font-family:
arial, sans-serif; color:#000000;" align="left">POSTMORTEM
plays Friday and Saturday nights at 8 PM, September 27 -
October 19 on CVLT's Main Stage. Tickets are $18 regular,
$14 student/senior. Tickets can be purchased online at
CVLT.org or by phone at 440-247-8955 between 1-6 PM,
Monday through Saturday. Discounts for groups of 10 or
more available, as well as dinner deals with select area
restaurants. Chagrin Valley Little Theatre is located at
40 River Street in historic Chagrin Falls Village. CVLT is
