</p><p style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt"><b><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Times">The Play</span></b><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Times"></span></p><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Times">Grounded in the venerable traditions
of satire and political theater -- from Aristophanes through Swift to Brecht --
NOVA affords a searing glimpse of the commodification of humans in a culture of
the relentless sales pitch. Will husband (Al) succumb to the prurient pressures
of an in-home demonstration of a new robot bride and trade in his living wife
(Marlene)? Will anyone notice the grandfather (Andy Gramps) who expires in
front of his TV during the demo?</span>



<p style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt"><b><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Times">The Roles</span></b><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Times"></span></p><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Times">1. Al, the husband, in his late
thirties or early forties. Dance/movement experience a huge advantage.</span><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Times"><br>2. Andy Gramps (mute), in his
sixties.</span><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Times"></span><span style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Times"><br>3. Marlene, the wife, (mute) in late
