Viewing and/or participating in dramatic ritual allows us to see hidden aspects of ourselves and repressed aspects of the culture at large. It also provides a channel for the healthy expression of deep emotions. This lecture takes a look at the Individuation process in theater using scenes and images from modern and ancient plays. In a friendly, supportive environment, participants will have the opportunity to further explore their own individuation process through the medium of theater.</font></span><br></div></div><div class="ecxlayoutArea"><div class="ecxcolumn"><font size="3" style="line-height: normal;"><span style="line-height: 22px; font-family: ArialMT;">The workshop begins with a gentle warm-up period to loosen the voice and relax the body. This material will then be presented for the group in the format of a dramatic reading.
