His choice engenders consequences that change his life forever. The film is told from a unique perspective; specifically, from the
perspective of the man's dog. We see the world through the dog's eyes, and thus paint a subjective, yet oddly removed portrait of the man and the relationship between the two friends. <br><br>Derek (late 40s) - Charismatic, handsome, yet jobless and feeling stuck in life and marriage.
