<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:12pt"><b><span style="font-family:Garamond">DENSON: </span></b><span style="font-family:Garamond">Late 40’s/50’s. African-American male. Has the blood of a storyteller
and mind of a fox. Strong like a citadel but with a good sense of humor that
keeps people smiling. Warm, with an active, always-working mind. He’s good at
keeping secrets. So good you wouldn’t know he had them. Married to Blythe.
Monica’s Father.</span><span style="font-family:Times"></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:12pt"><b><span style="font-family:Garamond">MONICA: </span></b><span style="font-family:Garamond">Early 20’s/30’s. Biracial female. Slick, smart, sexy. At a crossroads
of mind, self, and body. She’s adopted, so doesn’t specifically resemble Blythe
or Denson. A beautiful mix of beautiful parents. She has a bite. Prone to
impulsive decisions. Hungry for something stable.</span><span style="font-family:Times"></span></p>

features, solid physique. Seriously, he's impressive. Age unknown Maybe 28,
Maybe 48. Works with his hands, which are huge. A guy’s guy. A man’s man.
Masculine. Sensual. Sexual. Mercurial. Magnetic. Sometimes when he turns, if
you’re looking closely, you can sometimes see darkness in him. Animalistic.

interpretations. A historian of sorts. Good at talking. Great at listening.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:12pt"><span style="font-family:Garamond">Candidate Blythe Ames prepares - with a
voice as smooth and strong as a song - for the upcoming governor's election.
Her husband Denson should be happier for her political success. Her daughter
Monica should stop dying her hair. Across town, pop-culture blogger Evan meets
sexy stranger Shod at the dark and sordid Armature Bar where Mama serves the
drinks - if he's able to avoid the reporters. The lives of these very different
people collide as a roaring fire erupts with biblical wrath and passion,
devouring everything in its path.</span><span style="font-family:Times"></span></p>
