<div dir="ltr">The Hathaway Brown Theatre Institute (HBTI) will be offering three different single half-day dance workshops this winter!!!  <br><br>Tap Dance:  This mixed level tap dance workshop will offer classic steps and tap combinations, advanced rhythmic development and much much more. Every "triple threat" needs a good time step or two in their movement repertoire. The workshop will conclude by putting all you've learned into a 32 count dance with a song from a musical.  This workshop will only be available on January 2, 2014 from 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM.  (Instructor:  Katie Zarecki)<br>
<br>Contemporary Dance:  This technique fuses elements of modern dance, ballet, and some non-western dance cultures. Students will learn contact-release, fall and recovery, and other floor work. This workshop will also help students explore improvisational techniques. This workshop will only be available on January 2, 2014 from 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM . (Instructor:  Jenny Burnett)<br>
<br>Dance 201 - Turns and Leaps:  Dancers and audiences all love the big moves, the fabulous turns, and the leaps that seem to defy gravity. In this workshop, the student will work on the techniques needed to develop those skills. Pirouettes, petite tours, chainne turns, turning leaps, grande jete and barrel turns to name just a few.  This workshop will only be available on January 3, 2014 from 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM.  (Instructors:  Bebe Weinberg Katz & Aubrey Fink)<br>
