He’s lined up a gourmet caterer and also an alibi courtesy of his friend, Robert. As an actor, Marc originated the role of Talk Show Host in the Broadway production of the Stephen Sondheim/Hal Prince musical, Merrily We Roll Along. He has also appeared at Oberlin Summer Theatre Festival and Porthouse Theatre. Marc was in the Returning Professional Acting program at Kent State University and received his MFA degree in Spring 2012. <br><br>Weathervane Playhouse is a community theater. centers on two con men living on the French Riviera. Lawrence Jameson makes his
lavish living by talking rich ladies out of their money. Freddy Benson swindles
women more humbly by waking their compassion with fabricated stories about his
grandmother’s failing health. After meeting on a train, the two con artists
attempt to work together. Trouble is, they soon find that this small French

out characters will come from the ensemble.</p><p class="MsoNormal">There is
movement for the ensemble in the production but not heavy or technical. Those
auditioning should be comfortable with simple dance steps and remembering

directed Weathervane’s The Mystery of Edwin Drood during the 2012-2013 season. A member of
SDC, he has mounted shows that range from the musical styling of Gilbert and
Sullivan to the drama of August Wilson.<o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:15.0pt;mso-pagination:none;mso-layout-grid-align:
none;text-autospace:none">Musical Director: <span style="text-transform:uppercase">John Ebner</span> Earlier this
season he was musical director for Christmas
My Way and Xanadu and, in past
seasons, he was musical director for Ragtime,
Putting It Together and The Drowsy
Chaperone. He received a YACTA Marquee Award and a Chanticleer for Ragtime
and another Chanticleer for The Drowsy Chaperone. He has worked extensively in
a variety of ways as musical director, keyboardist and accompanist for Canton
Cabaret, Carousel Dinner Theatre, Coach House, Ohio Shakespeare Festival, The
Player’s Guild of Canton, Western Reserve Playhouse and Voices of Canton. He
has performed with Arthur Fiedler, Paul Williams and a Billy Joel Tribute band
at Cleveland’s House of Blues. John is a retired music teacher and continues to
work with local schools in Stark and Summit Counties.<b><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman";mso-bidi-font-family:Helvetica"><o:p></o:p></span></b></p><p class="MsoNormal"><i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman"">Weathervane Playhouse is a community
