<u><i>THE CATCH </i>by Ken Weitzman</u></span></b><u> </u><br>

<p class="MsoNormal"><i style="">The Catch </i>is a warmhearted story involving an actual event, the frenzy over catching the record home run baseball hit by Barry Bonds, but it’s much more than that.<span style="">
</span>It’s about family relationships, especially the wonderful, complicated, rich relationship between fathers and sons.<span style="">
</span>Gary has separated from his wife, moved into a small apartment in Oakland, CA, his father has moved in as well, yet Gary is wrapped with the optimism of reuniting with his wife.<span style="">
</span>Gary sees the basic issue to saving his marriage is money and develops a crazy plan to win a bunch by catching “the” ball hit by Barry Bonds.
