Healthy Lives – A</span></strong> <strong><span style='font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>Roadmap to Policy, Systems, and Environmental (PSE) Change in Asian American/Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AA/NHPI) Communities of Greater Cleveland</span></strong>,” will illustrate the impact culturally catered PSE initiatives can make to increase <strong><span style='font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>healthy eating/active living </span></strong>within hard to reach communities of Greater Cleveland. <br><br>RAISE, a multi-sector coalition, brings together local stakeholders within Greater Cleveland to tackle obesity and chronic disease by working “upstream” to increase physical activity and improve nutrition in AA/NHPI communities. There has been growing body of evidence to suggest that the rate of preventable chronic disease among AA/NHPIs will match that of mainstream Americans with greater length of acculturation. The seven-county Greater Cleveland metropolitan area is comprised of over 60,000 AA/NHPIs.
