<br></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:0.5in"> </p><div class="MsoNormal">Even though snow is flying in Chardon, the Geauga Lyric Theater Guild has been preparing for summer. This year will be a wonderful experience for students of all ages.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal"><br></div><div class="MsoNormal"> For the youngest performers aged four to seven, the junior workshops offer the chance to explore the stage in a relaxed manner with classic tales. Lee Ann and Serena Tamburrino look forward to sharing <strong><font style="background-color:rgb(0,0,255)"><i><font color="#0000ff" style="background-color:rgb(243,243,243)">The Shoemaker and the Elves</font></i><font style="background-color:rgb(255,255,255)"> </font></font></strong>and <i><strong><font color="#ff00ff">Thumbelina</font></strong></i>.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal"><br></div><div class="MsoNormal"> For ages seven to twelve, the elementary workshops immerse kids in the magic of theater. The musical offering, <em><strong><font color="#0b5394">No Strings Attached</font></strong> </em>is instructed by Julie Douglass will share the delightful tale of Pinocchio.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal"><br></div><div class="MsoNormal"> The dramatic offering, <strong><font color="#00ff00"><i><font color="#38761d">Jungle Book</font></i> </font></strong>(adapted from the “Mowgli” Stories by Rudyard Kipling) will have kids ready to rule the imaginary jungle created onstage. Michelle Kuch will instruct the elementary drama workshop and the GLTG is happy to have her as a new instructor.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal"><br></div><div class="MsoNormal"> Just for “tweens”, ages eleven to fourteen, is the opportunity to be a part of the production <i><strong><font color="#9900ff">The Neverending Story </font></strong></i>instructed by Angela Miloro-Hansen. This group will delve into a magical world told through a very curious book.</div>
<p class="MsoNormal"> </p><p class="MsoNormal">New this year, is a change from a teen workshop to an auditioned teen production. It’ll be 1959 in Chardon as the teens, ages thirteen to eighteen, perform <i><strong><font color="#ff0000">Grease: School Version.</font></strong></i> This fabulous musical tells the classic story of love and friendship with the help of the Pink Ladies and the Burger Palace Boys.</p>
