Are you looking for a summer acting program that is not a musical theatre-based camp? There is still space available in the Young Actors Ensemble teen acting intensive camp at the Fine Arts Association.</span></div><div class="" style=""><span class="" style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI';"> </span></div><div class="" style=""><span class="" style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI';"> This camp is for students who want to enroll in an intensive acting study. Creativity, collaboration, and discipline are emphasized as students explore the acting process in a supportive and nurturing environment. Areas of focus include
Stanislavsky-based acting technique, improvisation, voice/movement and ensemble work. The Young Actors Ensemble provides a balance between studio work and performance by culminating in a showcase production, featuring both scripted and ensemble-devised pieces. </span></div><div class="" style=""><span class="" style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI';"> </span></div><div class="" style=""><span class="" style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI';">Placement into this camp is by audition. All ability levels welcome. Previous theatre experience encouraged, but not necessary. Please don't be discouraged by the audition requirement! The audition is simply a way for the camp director to assess the student's level of experience.
