is an award-winning fight choreographer and Advanced Actor Combatant with the
Society of American Fight Directors (SAFD) with over 10 years of stage combat
experience. He has choreographed violence for more than 40 theatrical
productions including at Great Lakes Theatre, Cleveland Shakespeare Festival,
Cleveland Public Theatre, Ensemble Theatre, Baldwin Wallace University, Ashland
University, the Academy for the Performing Arts, Cleveland School of the Arts,
Fairmount Performing Arts Conservatory, Solon Center for the Arts and the Ohio
Thespian Conference. Dusten is an adjunct professor of stage combat at Baldwin
Wallace University; director and instructor of stage combat at the Academy for the
Performing Arts; and private acting coach at Solon Center for the Arts. He has
trained in Chicago, Las Vegas and Cincinnati under Richard Ryan (Fight Arranger
for films: The Dark Knight, Sherlock Holmes, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of
Shadows, Troy), Chuck Coyle (Fight Director: Broadway and National Tour of
August: Osage County) and David Boushey (Fight Coordinator: Highlander: The
Series, Co-Founder: SAFD). Dusten holds a BA in Theatre from Ashland

his career in stage combat in 2004. He has studied with the Society of American
Fight Directors, is a member of The International order of the Sword and Pen,
an Apprentice in The United Stuntmen’s Association and has been a student of
Krav Maga for the past three years. Steven has served as stunt coordinator for
the films <i class="" style="">Conversions</i> and <i class="" style="">Made in Cleveland</i>, as well as fight
choreographer for stage productions of <i class="" style="">Romeo
& Juliet</i>, <i class="" style="">Macbeth</i>, <i class="" style="">Hamlet</i>, <i class="" style="">Peter Pan</i>, <i class="" style="">City of Angels</i>,
<i class="" style="">Aida</i>, <i class="" style="">West Side Story</i>, <i class="" style="">To Kill a
Mockingbird</i> and <i class="" style="">Noises Off</i>.
Steven has been taught by such industry professionals as Gavin Wild (Superman
