<h2 style="font-size:12pt; font-weight: bold; font-family:

Interview" wraps CVLT's 84th Season with edgy, rip-roaring
comedy</h2>
<p style="font-size:10pt; font-weight:normal;font-family:
arial, sans-serif; color:#000000;" align="left">CHAGRIN
FALLS, OH - Chagrin Valley Little Theatre's 65-seat River
Street Playhouse stage is known for handling more
off-the-beaten-path material than the 262-seat Main Stage
(currently presenting the Broadway classic "A Chorus Line"
as summer fare). THE EXIT INTERVIEW by William Missouri
Downs, an edgy, philosophical comedy that debuted in 2012,
is the perfect fit. Under the direction of Barbara L.
Rhoades, THE EXIT INTERVIEW opens July 25 for a
three-weekend run.</p>
<p style="font-size:10pt; font-weight:normal;font-family:
arial, sans-serif; color:#000000;" align="left">THE EXIT
INTERVIEW's existential romp centers on Professor Richard
Fig (Jerry Schaber), an expert on German playwright
Bertolt Brecht, who has lost his university position and
is suffering through an exit interview with Eunice, the
human resources manager (Sally Morriss). After a masked
gunman appears on campus, prompting Eunice to continue the
interview from under her desk, the comedy abandons logic
and realism, bounding through absurd Brechtian interludes
in pursuit of life's most profound questions. The cast
includes Sarah Anderson and Clare Scott as deranged
cheerleaders, as well as Talia Valline, Johnetta Harris,
Andrew Pavelek, Anthony Newman, and Michael J. Rogan
playing twenty other odd characters. THE EXIT INTERVIEW is
a darkly funny send-up that comments on religion, science,
politics, and the human condition. It is a wild cap to
CVLT's 84th consecutive season of live theater.</p>
<p style="font-size:10pt; font-weight:normal;font-family:
arial, sans-serif; color:#000000;" align="left">THE EXIT
INTERVIEW plays on CVLT's River Street Playhouse stage at
56 River Street in Chagrin Falls' Theatre District, July
25 – August 9, 2014, with performances on Friday &
Saturday nights at 8 PM. Tickets are $12. Not recommended
for sensitive audiences due to mature content. Tickets for
all CVLT productions can be purchased online at CVLT.org
or by phone at 440-247-8955 between 1-6 PM, Monday through
Saturday. CVLT is generously funded by Cuyahoga County
