Mother’s Lesbian Jewish Wiccan Wedding</span></i></b><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial"> will have a preview performance on Thursday August
7th with the official opening the following night, Friday August 8th. The event
is proudly presented as a part of the 9<sup>th</sup> International Gay Games of
which Actors’ Summit is an official Community Partner. The production will run
for two weekends, opening just before and closing just after the GG9.  The musical comedy is presented<sup> </sup>at
historic Greystone Hall in downtown Akron.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial"><i style="font-weight:bold;color:red">My Mother’s
Lesbian Jewish Wiccan Wedding</i><span style="background-color:rgb(255,255,255)"><font color="#000000"><b>, </b>which received rave reviews during its first regional production at Actors' Summit,</font></span></span><span style="font-size:12pt;font-family:Arial"><span style="background-color:rgb(255,255,255)"><font color="#000000"> </font></span>is based on the true life experiences of David Hein who
co-authored the play with his wife, Irene Carl Sankoff.  </span></p>

mother Claire, after going through a messy divorce, takes a teaching position
at The University of Ottawa. Her son joins her to go to high school and soon
discovers that his mother, a professor of psychology, has fallen in love with a
therapist named Jane. Claire returns to her Jewish faith, while Jane continues
her practice of Wicca (witchcraft.)</span></p>

also tells the story of Canada’s drive to approve same sex marriage, becoming
