The strangers end up fighting for their lives in an abandoned house surrounded by zombies. The situation escalates as tensions rise and fear and prejudice take over.</span></div><div><span mce_style="font-size: 130%;">This show will have a SPLATTERZONE... much like when we did The Texas Chainsaw Musical. However, this is NOT a comedy. Be prepared to see a true telling of the horror movie that started all zombie films.</span></div><div><span mce_style="font-size: 130%;">If it doesn't scare you, you're already dead!</span></div><div><br></div><h2><span mce_style="font-size: 150%;">Character Breakdown </span></h2><div><span mce_style="font-size: 150%;">** The age range for each character is flexible. </span></div><div><span mce_style="font-size: 150%;"><em>Also, we may consider double casting some smaller roles and zombies so show conflicts are not an issue. Come be part of this amazing Halloween show with a live splatterzone!</em></span></div><div><span mce_style="font-size: 150%;"><em><br></em></span></div><div><strong>Barbara</strong>: (20's) One of the main protagonists. She is killed when the zombies get inside the house.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Ben</strong>: ( African American 20's-40's) The second protagonist in the 1968 film <em>Night of the Living Dead</em>. He is killed by the posse, who mistake him for a zombie.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Harry Cooper: </strong>(40's-50's) Supporting character in Night of the Living Dead. After various conflicts, is shot and killed by Ben after he attempts to control the situation by holding a gun on Ben (which he has taken from him). After dying from his wounds in the cellar, and having his arm partially devoured by the re-animated Karen, Harry revives only to be killed by Ben a second time.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Helen Cooper: </strong>(late 30's -50's) Supporting character in Night of the Living Dead, killed by her zombie daughter.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Tom: </strong>(18-20's) Supporting character in Night of the Living Dead, killed in an attempt to refuel a truck. Doubles as a zombie after death.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Johnny: </strong>(20's) Supporting character in Night of the Living Dead, killed by a zombie. When revived, Johnny pulls Barbara into a group of zombies who quickly surround her. Doubles as a zombie after death.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Judy Rose: </strong>(18-20's) Supporting character in Night of the Living Dead, killed in an attempt to refuel a truck. Will double as a zombie after she is killed.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Karen Cooper: </strong>(8-14 years old) Supporting character in Night of the Living Dead, bitten by a zombie before the Coopers found refuge in the house. Karen later dies and revives feasting on Harry's arm only to be interrupted by Helen who is then killed by Karen with a trowel.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Conan Mclelland: </strong>(30's-60's) Minor character. A police chief who leads a posse for zombie extermination. Later orders one of his men to shoot Ben when mistaking him for a zombie.
