Meyers, Assistant Director of Music at First Baptist Church of Greater Cleveland
at 3630 Fairmount Boulevard in Shaker Heights, has put together a program of
rarely performed chamber orchestra music featuring some of NE Ohio’s most
talented musicians.</FONT></P>
<P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 6pt" class=MsoNormal><FONT size=3 face=Calibri>Leading
from the piano, Betty will be accompanied by Diane Mather on cello and Virginia
Steiger on flute in the performance of Lefebvre’s <I
style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">Ballade</I> and Dello Joio’s <I
style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">Trio</I>, as well as Beach’s <I
style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">Two Pieces for Flute, Cello and Piano</I>,
Opus 90.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Following a brief
intermission the Highland Quintet featuring Alicia Tremmel and Bonnie Maky on
violin, Luane Lasky on viola, Gayle Klaber on cello and<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Betty on piano will perform Bruch’s <I
style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">Quintet in g minor</I>.</FONT></P>
<P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 6pt" class=MsoNormal><FONT size=3 face=Calibri>The
concert at 1:30 PM Sunday, November 2 in the beautiful Gothic Sanctuary of First
