<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Centaur","serif"">Chaz is currently touring with
<i>Newsies</i>, a dream of his since he saw the movie as a child! He hails from Columbus, Ohio and Las Vegas, Nevada, but now calls New York City home. Chaz got off to a quick start by doing the cha-cha with his parents when he was in diapers! As a teenager,
Chaz represented the USA at the World Tap Championships and was invited to compete on “The Greatest Dancer in America Challenge” on ABC’s Good Morning America. He has also appeared on CBS’s The King of Queens and taught the host how to dance on Anderson Live.
Chaz had the privilege of training with the legendary Henry LeTang and dancing alongside Gregory Hines in Las Vegas. Before his time with
<i>Newsies</i>, Chaz toured North America as Mr. Mistoffelees in the National Tour of
<i>CATS</i>. Other theatrical credits include: Andy Lee in <i>42nd Street</i>, Yonkers in
<i>Gypsy</i>, Garvin in <i>Footloose</i>, <i>Legally Blonde, </i>Disney<i>'s Beauty and the Beast</i>, Bert understudy in Disney's
<i>Mary Poppins</i>, H<i>airspray, Singin’ in the Rain </i>(Dance Captain), <i>Gentlemen Prefer Blondes
</i>(Dance Captain) and <i>Irving Berlin’s White Christmas</i>. He has served as the Dance Captain behind legendary performers Andy Williams and Ann-Margret in their concert and recently choreographed
<i>Mary Poppins</i> at Forestburgh Playhouse to rave reviews. Chaz has traveled the country teaching & choreographing at studios & theaters and for dance conventions since graduating college. Chaz has performed on Broadway in the Easter Bonnet, in which he
helped raise millions of dollars for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. He has celebrated New Years Eve by performing with the band Phish at Madison Square Garden. He earned his BFA in Dance from Oklahoma City University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
