wasn't so goody-goody, but instead was an angry, stressed-out modern-day
American woman who wanted out of this harsh London 1840s life?" The main
character in <i>Binge</i> is the hard-drinking, suicidal Gladys Cratchit, whose
harshness to her family surpasses <i>Mommie
Dearest</i> by a mile. <br>

mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";mso-bidi-font-weight:bold">Christopher
Durang</span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman"">
is an American playwright known for works of outrageous and often absurd
comedy. A self-professed playwright
since second grade, Durang received a B.A. in English from Harvard and an
M.F.A. in playwriting from Yale School of Drama. Durang typically uses parody
to comment upon sensitize social issues such as: child abuse, Roman Catholic
dogma and culture and homosexuality. In 2013, his play <i>Vanya and Sonia and
Masha and Spike </i>won the Tony Award for Best Play. He lives in Bucks County,
Pennsylvania with his partner, John Augustine; they have been together for more
than 20 years. <sup><br>
