<DIV>Weathervane Playhouse is happy to announce that the Fifth Annual 8x10
TheatreFest will be held on the weekend of July 10, 11, 12, 2015. We
are now taking 10 minute play submissions. Each year we receive
between 150-200 entries which are read by a panel of volunteers.
Then, in the spring, we choose 8 finalists whose plays will be presented for 3
performances over TheatreFest weekend. Audience members vote for
their favorites and, following Sunday's matinee performance, prizes are
awarded:</DIV>
<DIV>First Place $350</DIV>
<DIV>Second Place $250</DIV>
<DIV>Third Place $150</DIV>
<DIV>Remaining five finalists $50 each.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>The 10 minute play competition is open to playwrights from around the
country and just around-the-corner! (In fact, last year's First
Place winner, Brandi Eaton, was from Stow!) </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Deadline for entries is Friday, May 15, 2015 at 5pm.</DIV>
