the inaugural charity benefit for The RISE Foundation (Recovering In a Safe
Environment), which will be held from 6pm to 9pm on Thursday, December 4, 2014 the West Side Irish American
Club at 8559 Jennings Road in Olmsted Twp.

Master of Ceremonies of the gala dinner will highlighted by music by
Cleveland’s best young Irish traditional musicians, <b><i>The Roundabouts.</i> </b>The
newly crowned “Face of Ireland,” <b>Eimear
Reynolds</b> of County Roscommon will grace the stage and offer comments on her
new role as Ireland’s good will ambassador and her own commitment to community
service. Noted traditional Irish
musician <b>Donie Carroll</b> of County
Cork will offer a selection of songs. The <b>Brady-Campbell
School of Irish Dance</b> will demonstrate their lively and creative style of

a registered charity founded by Frances Black in 2009, focused on family members
of those with addictive behavior (e.g. alcohol, drugs, gambling) RISE, is
dedicated to working towards helping family members to free themselves from the
stress, anxiety and worry of having a loved one with addictive behavior and to
understand the nature of addiction and the profound effects it has on
relationships. </font></span></p>
<p style="margin:13.5pt 0in 0.0001pt;line-height:13.5pt;background-image:initial;background-repeat:initial"><span style="color:black"><font face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Frances Black – one of Irelands most well known singers -
has spoken openly about her own recovery from addiction and the overwhelming
response she received from the public:</font></span></p>

to know how to cope with someone they love who could possibly be in addiction.
People would come up to me at signings and tell me their stories. I was very

was needed for family members who were often extremely anxious and worried
about their loved ones in addiction. It was here that she saw the stress and
heartache that addictive behavior has on families:</font></span></p>

someone they love slowly killing themselves. No matter how many times they may
ask them to stop, unfortunately their loved in addiction just can’t hear them.
Family members feel like they are grieving for the person they are losing to addiction.” </span></b></em><span style="color:black"></span></font></p>
<p style="margin:13.5pt 0in 0.0001pt;line-height:13.5pt;background-image:initial;background-repeat:initial"><span style="color:black"><font face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Frances felt inspired her to set-up a primary care organization
that would support family members in their feeling of powerlessness, heartache,
stress, and anxiety. So she founded The RISE Foundation in 2009.</font></span></p>

philosophy is that it is important for the whole family to step into recovery,

Dublin, and her parents Patty and Kevin were both very musical. She began
singing with her older siblings, Shay, Michael, Mary, and Martin, known as The

Records in 1994, and she released her first solo album, Talk to Me, which was
the number 1 best-selling album in Ireland for 10 weeks. She had a massive hit
single with “All The Lies That You Told Me,” penned by the late, great Christie
Hennessy. Frances released seven more best-selling solo albums, The Sky Road,
The Smile On Your Face, Don’t Get Me Wrong, How High the Moon, The Best Of
Frances Black, This Love Will Carry and more recently the Essential Frances
